The Council's
Learning and Skills Service offers courses that help people to build confidence and develops skills and talents. The Team works with local training providers to deliver a range of courses suitable for all needs. To be eligible, learners need to be 19 or above.
2024/2025 Courses are available for free if you are unemployed or on a low-income.
Barclays' Digital Wings can help you with many aspects of getting online, from choosing a device to getting connected. The site offers several courses including digital foundation skills, communicating, skills for work and life, problem solving and handing personal information.

The Skills Toolkit' which provides you with access to free courses to help you learn new skills or change jobs. Courses available relate to maths; computer essentials; personal growth and wellbeing; digital design and marketing; computer science and coding and many more.
