Covid has not gone away, we still need to take precautions to help stop the spread of the virus:

  • Get all recommended doses of the as soon as possible, including any boosters you are eligible for - it's never too late to start your vaccination course
  • You may choose to wear a face covering in enclosed and crowded public places
  • If you're meeting others, meet outside if you can and if you are inside, open a window to help blow Covid particles away
  • Staying at home when you need to continues to be important to stop the virus spreading. If you test positive for Covid-19 you should remain at home and avoid contact with other people for five days after you do the test. Those aged 18 and under are advised to stay home for three days and avoid contact with other people. This starts from the day after the positive test. If your temperature continues after the initial period of isolation you should continue to stay at home until you no longer have a temperature
  • You should also try to stay at home if you have symptoms of Covid-19 or another respiratory infection and a temperature, or generally feel unwell
  • Wash hands and follow advice to "Catch it, Bin it, Kill it"
