Purchase card payments
Sunderland City Council publishes the details of every transaction from the council's procurement card scheme, showing who we paid, how much we paid, and what this was for.
This information is included in a report showing all purchase card transactions during the relevant period. The reports show a number of columns of data:
Column | Field name | Explanation |
A | Local authority | Name of council making the payment |
B | Directorate | The directorate responsible for spending the money |
C | Transaction date | The date on which the transaction took place |
D | Supplier | The name of the beneficiary of the transaction |
E | Transaction number | The unique number to identify the transaction within the council's purchase card system |
F | Merchant category/summary | The merchant category and summary of the purpose of the expenditure |
G | Transaction value | Value of the procurement card transaction |
The report may raise questions, if you want to know more about any of the transactions, please email: procurement@sunderland.gov.uk quoting the transaction number, the supplier and the amount you are querying. We aim to respond within fifteen working days.
Format of the data
We publish the data in two formats:
- The PDF makes it easier for you to read or print the data.
- The CSV format allows you to analyse and sort the data in the spreadsheet software package of your choice.
