Course Title

Awareness of the Safeguarding & PREVENT Strategies

This course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding relating to safeguarding and PREVENT responsibilities in a work situation. The course covers all aspects of safeguarding including how to make a safeguarding or PREVENT report.

The course content includes:

·         How to safeguard and protect children, young people, and practitioners in the workplace.

·         How to respond to evidence or concerns that a child or young person has been abused.

·         PREVENT agenda and how to identify, respond to and report concerns about radicalisation.

Suitable for those working with the general public on a day-to-day basis where there are clear safeguarding and PREVENT risks. It is suitable for those working or volunteering specifically with children and young people. This course is delivered face to face over 2 days.
