Bonfires on Allotments

Bonfires will not be permitted between 1st April and 30th September in any year of the tenancy.

During times when burning is permitted the tenant shall:

Not leave fires unattended at any time
Not burn any plastic, painted or synthetic material on the allotment garden
Only burn small and manageable amounts of garden rubbish, such as weeds
Not burn any material on the allotment garden that would cause a smoke or odour nuisance to residential properties in the vicinity of the allotment garden and not to burn any wet or damp materials
Ensure that fires are extinguished immediately if the resulting smoke begins to drift towards residential properties
