Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics

11 day course is delivered from 9.30 until 14:30 travel expenses will be reimbursed

Aim

Functional Skills qualifications should enable the learner to gain confidence in using mathematics, provide a foundation for progression into employment or further technical education and develop skills for everyday life, where the skills gained can be applied to solve mathematical problems.

Areas Covered

·         Respond effectively to detailed questions

·         Communicate information, ideas and opinions clearly and accurately on a range of topics

·         Follow and understand discussions and make contributions relevant to the situation and the subject
