Maintenance of shrubs and hedges

We are responsible for the maintenance of shrubs and hedges in public areas. Shrub maintenance takes place throughout the winter months and hedge pruning outside of nesting season, which begins on March 1st and runs through to July 31st. This however is a guideline, and it can be assumed that birds will nest both before and after this period.

Our Local Services Team will consider your request and update it with the relevant action to be taken. We will only take additional requests if shrubs and hedges are causing a nuisance or obstruction.
